Pair of Huck Embroidered Guest Towels Peach & Yellow
Huck embroidery was popular in the 1950's and 1960's and was done on "birdseye" or huck toweling. It became so popular that colored toweling was coveted for doing this fun embroidery craft. Geometric in design, it was very easy to do and even little girls picked up on it to pass the time. I have seen a modern version of the craft done on a different kind of fabric- we call it Sweedish Weaving.
